Day 1: Travel to Ohio
Your journey begins with a welcome
dinner hosted by your Tour Manager and an overnight stay
in Ohio. Meal: D
Day 2: Arrive in the Adirondacks
Continue today into the
beautiful Adirondack Mountains region of upstate New York
and the town of Watertown, for a two-night stay.
Meals: B, D
Day 3: 1000 Island Cruise and Singer Castle
Enjoy a leisurely narrated cruise through the 1000 Islands region
of the St. Lawrence River while your guide shares historic,
environmental and seaway facts. A stop is made at Dark Island
for a one hour walking tour of Singer Castle. Originally built as
a hunting lodge by the president of the Singer Sewing Machine
Company, Commodore Bourne, the castle became a religious
retreat before being opened to public tours and is rumored to be
haunted.
This afternoon visit the Antique Boat Museum where
its collection evokes the nostalgia of days gone by along the
St. Lawrence Seaway. Meals: B, L
Day 4: Adirondack Park and Lake Placid
Travel through Adirondack Park for beautiful scenery on your way to the High Peaks region. There are breathtaking views of New York
State 's highest mountains in autumn color. A local guide takes you through Lake Placid, home of the 1932 and 1980 Winter
Olympics. Meals: B, D
Day 5: Saratoga Springs and Lake George Lunch Cruise
The day begins on the water on a narrated lunch cruise on
beautiful Lake George to enjoy the rich autumn colors and
fabulous scenery. Then we are off to a touring of the historic
town of Saratoga Springs.
Here, a local guide joins you for a
tour of this unique upstate town. See the Historic Saratoga
Springs Race Track, once a stomping ground of New York 's
rich and famous, along with the homes district and Spa Park.

Day 6: Ride the Adirondack Scenic Railroad
This morning, visit the Chapman Museum to learn about the area. Then,
enjoy some free time in Lake George before taking a leisurely
drive day through the Adirondacks with a stop in Old Forge.
This afternoon, climb aboard the Adirondack Scenic Railroad
at Thendara Station for a scenic excursion to Utica. Relax and
enjoy the ride which reveals the Adirondacks ' hidden beauties
in its lush forests, scenic rivers and quaint streams. Continuing
on to The Turning Stone Casino Resort, your home for the
night. Meal: B
Day 7: George Eastman House
In Rochester you pay a visit
the George Eastman House, a registered National Historic
Landmark. Heralded as the father of modern photography and
motion picture film, George Eastman 's home celebrates the
art of photography, and its collection rivals that of the Getty
Museum.
Tour the home and enjoy lunch on own in the cafe
before continuing on to Ohio and a farewell dinner hosted by
your Tour Manager. Meals: B, D
Day 8: Return Home
Return home from your Adirondack
